Wyoming
Utility Energy Efficiency Programs
Updated: January 2009
Overview
Rocky Mountain Power (RMP) received approval from the Wyoming Public Service
Commission (PSC) to implement six DSM programs for residential, commercial and
industrial customers over four years beginning January 1, 2009. RMP anticipates
spending about $25 million on these programs and saving 138 million KWh per year
by the end of the four-year effort. This is equivalent to 1.7% of RMP's
electricity sales in Wyoming as of 2006. RMP is responsible for about 57% of
electricity sales in Wyoming.
SWEEP helped to negotiate the settlement that was approved by the PSC on
October 2, 2008. See details on the
PSC
decision.
